Can't access to tiki-admin.php?page=packages error 500

It happens only with packages. With Tiki 27.3 and 27.1, both instalations in the same server.
Trying to load this part of the site crashes all the website in my session. Firefox and Chrome.
Any ideas?
Thanks!!!

If you’re logged in as a regular user, you’ll get a “Permission denied” or “You don’t have access” message.

Hi! Thanks for the answer. I'm with admin. I don't get persmission denied or something like this. It gets error 500 and the whole site crashes while trying to load.

Can you get to the composer.json file on the root of your Tiki? Maybe something got installed in there that the server doesn't like? Try renaming it (say to composer.json_back) and try again - maybe maybe?

If not that can you get to a shell/console on your server? If so what does php -v say?

Finally do you have composer.phar in your temp directory? If so maybe rename that and Tiki will try and install another one...

Good luck! (failing all that see if anyone in the Tiki chat room can help?)

Thanks Jonny for the answer.

There is no composer.json in the tiki directory, there is a composer.json.dist

There is no composer.phar in the temp directory

Hmm, and do you have shell access to try the php command? Maybe that's why it doesn't work if you con't have a command line php version.

Can you see the error log from the server? There probably will be more info about the 500 error in the log file...

I’ve seen similar issues caused by a bad package, permission problems, or a PHP error.
