This is a wild guess but have you tried clearing your templates_c directory? Are you using any PHP accelerator products?

I tried that just now (because you suggested it), but it did not do the trick. It is really very odd.

Not that I know of. It's a clean PHP install.

Thanks for trying - please keep the good ideas coming... Might it help to reinstall the thing (you know - reinsalzheimers)...

I was thinking - the web server this is running on is pretty weak. And as I understand that the Features page is very large, could it then be that PHP just can't display it all? Because I get the top line of buttons, and then no more. Also, I cannot choose "View Source" on the page, which indicates that the page isn't completely loaded. I've let it sit for a long while, but nothing happens.

Is there anywhere in some log file I can see if PHP has had a problem delivering a page?

I think I upped the memory limit til 16MB, but how do I force PHP to re-read the .ini file?

Well, now I increased the max script execution time to 60 seconds and verified that memory limit was 16M (and increased it to 24). Still no cigar.

You probably already checked it but have you looked in your httpd logs for any clues/errors?
