Fatal error: Undefined class name 'tikisetup' in d:\htdocs\tiki\tiki-install.php on line 133

I know this problem has been addressed in other topics, but without any solution for me...

I'm using Windows XP, Apache, PHP, MySQL, phpMyAdmin, all recent versions.

I read installation guides, help files and forums and can't seem to track down the cause.

PHP.INI open_basedir was mentioned, so I allready set this to D:/HTDOCS, which didn't help. When I set this to some other directory, tiki-install.php gives me:

Copy to clipboard
Warning: Unknown(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(d:\htdocs\tiki\tiki-install.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (D:/HTDOCS/projects) in Unknown on line 0 Warning: Unknown(d:\htdocs\tiki\tiki-install.php): failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in Unknown on line 0 Warning: (null)(): Failed opening 'd:\htdocs\tiki\tiki-install.php' for inclusion (include_path='.;c:\php4\pear') in Unknown on line 0

Any help is appreciated,

Please see the InstallTikiUnderSafeMode page.

open basedir is addressed there

I'm confused, but it works!

I read the page, and found out it mostly deals installation on a linux server on which you have restricted access. I'm installing on my personal WinXP box.

So after trying to set, unset, try different values for session.save_path, open_basedir and include_path (all php.ini) "all of a sudden" it worked...

I now have nothing set, except for session.save_path.

Thanks!

Damn, I thought I had it fixed... 😕

After it worked I "rolled-back" a php.ini setting or two, to see if that was realy the cause. And now it's somehow screwed up again...

I get blank pages from /tiki, also from /tiki/tiki-admin.php and /tiki/tiki-index.php, but not from /tiki/tiki-install.php, which gives me:
"This site has an admin account configured
Please enter your admin password to continue"

And when I enter the correct password (tiki did work for about 2 minutes) it just reloads the page...

Right now i have in php.ini:

; open_base_dir
(not set, which is a good thing, right?)

session.save_path = D:/HTDOCS/SESSION_DATA
(sessions do work in other projects)

include_path = ".;c:\php\includes;.\lib;.\lib\pear;D:\HTDOCS\tiki\lib;D:\HTDOCS\tiki\lib\pear"

The db connect vars in tiki-db.php are correct.

I don't know what's going wrong here and I'm even more frustrated because it did work for 2 minutes and I haven't got a clue why it stopped working...

Thanks for your help,

- John

Well, I reset the complete php.ini and all the tiki files and database, and after the "normal errors" I get the default tiki site! *phew*

Hope it will remain working this time; being extra careful with settings and changes...
