    • tiki-install.php problem

    Hey,
    Im having trouble getting to the tiki-install.php through the browser.
    I follow the instructions down to the point where it says
    "
    Point your browser to the Web address that corresponds to the file tiki-install.php in the Tiki document root you created above.

    * E.g. http://localhost/tiki/tiki-install.phpQuestion
    "

    And then I get this message: The requested resource (/tiki/tiki-install.php) is not available.

    Anybody know what I need to change? It seems like a small problem but I cant figure it out.
    Im using Redhad9 and tomcat.

    Any help would be great.

    Have you verified the access rights of the directory?

    Maybe the /tiki/ directory or its contents are not readable by the apache user ❓

    chmod g+r
    chgrp www-data -R /path/to/wiki

    assuming that the group is www-data for your server.

    you may have to check the installation file for the
    group id in use for the apache server
    /etc/apache/*.conf is a good place to start

    I gave it a shot but I still get the same error. Any other suggestions?
