Live support puts you on-call when your users need you. With the click of a button, a user may request help from a live support operator. The live support module automatically opens upon acceptance a chat window between the user and operator.
As Admin
First enable the feature on Admin->Features.
On the Admin dropdown menu choose the Live Support option
Now make some Tiki users into operators.
To make the Live Support visible on the site, create the module through Admin->Modules.
The name of the module is live_support and assign it the desired column and set visability accordingly.
Operator usage
Now logged into the Tiki site as one of the operators, click the Open Live Support Console window. This window is where the requests for chat will appear.
Then a request appears you can either Accept or Reject it.
User usage
A user wanting Live Support, can click on the now Online image button.
A new window will open asking for user name, email (only if they arent logged into the site!) and a Request Reason. Once completed they can click Request Chat
This is when the request will appear in the Operator console. If accepted a online chat session between the operator and user will start. To end the conversation just close the window.
You can test this on one machine, although you need to use two different browsers to allow you to connect to your site as two different Tiki users.
