History: UserPagephunkymunky

My name is Pete Baker, Im 21, I come from Scotland, and im in my last year of University at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, completing my Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree. I like DJ'in, chillin, and have been known to do lots of camping, building great big camp fires, doin lots of walking, some rock climbing and generally getting my hands dirty with something, usually something technical related. Ive been travelling this summer through Fiji, New Zealand and Australia, after completing a 12 month internship working for Sun Microsystems in CA in the good old USA. There I was doing Voice over IP Solution development, working with the SunONE software stack, Java, JSP, JSTL and lots of other acronyms begining with the letter J. I also learnt how to be pretty l33t on a Solaris box - I passed my Sun Certified Systems Administrator exams before I left. You can find my site at phunkymunky.net

My technical interests include Digital Signal Processing, microcontroller programming, filter and other algorithm realisation in digital hardware, FPGAs, web services, communications (all 7 layers of meaty goodness), interesting stuff on the internet, trying to make things out of old electrical components.

Enjoy!
