    Is it possible to change the default number of rows in textarea?
    I have changed the value in textareasize.tpl, but maybe I missed a more conservative approach.

    So far I remember, there is no global default value. You have to set
    in each php concerned with the textarea tpl a $smarty->assign('rows', "your_number"

    You were right, I meant textarea.php, not .tpl, which has the default assignment which changes all.
