Hi Tim,

If you are referring to Wiki pages:

Admin dir -> Admin home -> (select wiki )

you will find at the bottom the "Allow HTML" module. This in itself would not automatically "Allow HTML", you have to activate that on a page-by-page basis, or shall we say "wiki page"-by-"wki page" basis??? Also, once you activated "Allow HTML", you have to review the permissions allowed in each page that were not covered by the blanket permissions allowed for that group of files. Both are very cumbersome.

May one of the veterans correct me on this, I am still learning, and I do not have any background on programming.

You may want to read this also:

http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?comments_parentId=18760&topics_threshold=0&topics_offset=0&topics_sort_mode=lastPost_desc&topics_find=&forumId=4Question

where Gary lambasted my reasons for preferring HTML.

More important, as Sylvie and Damian pointed out in one of my posts, there is inherent danger in "Allowing HTML" when you let others edit the wiki pages. If you do not allow others to edit your wiki pages (or limit who would have edit privileges), that defeats the very purpose of the wiki concept — creating a collaborative environment during the process of developing a written document.

I would still prefer some HTML in certain pages, such as in Articles for "finished" collaborative work.
