show gallery project within tiki

1. is there any clever way to embed the Gallery Project into your tikiwiki. maybe with G2?

2. if not, how can i at least show and browse my existing gallery within wiki (maybe using tikis top frame and left-column just for navigation that wraps around gallery (like a frame set?)

3.
so far i have just been able to show images from within a tiki-article by pointing out the image´s URL within the gallery.

but even then, wiki seems to sometimes want to upload images in its own (database?) before showing them. - it even sometimes refuses to show more then 1 picture in one full-article.
(not counting the image in the article-header). and it makes no difference if i used html or tiki-syntax to show the pic in the article´s text. .

thanks for your help.

With logins, searches, etc. shared? I don't know about that. Bitweaver (a fork of Tiki) is supposed to have easier integration of outside scripts such as galleries, so you might want to check that out.

See an example of Gallery displayed in an iframe in a Tiki wiki page here. Both Tiki and Gallery are unmodified.

This is Tiki's mechanism for avoiding images-not-found on other servers. I think there might be a setting to turn off external image caching if you don't want it.

I haven't experienced this; generally have no trouble with more than one image in an article. Can you give more details (what img URLS are being used, Tiki version, etc.)?

i just browsed through ALL settings in the configuration of my gallery.
and here it says:

embedded gallery:

Gallery automatically detects when it is embedded within one of the supported CMS environments, however there may be some environments which have special options which need to be set. Any options which are not automatically detected will need to be specified on this screen. If your ISP or CMS requires register_globals to be enabled, you may be required to enable the 'Disable register_globals check' option under the Technical tab.

maybe this is helpful..

iframe works just PERFECT for me. Thanks!

Hi, seems like you figured out how to embed gallery project. Could you give some detailled information or even attach the php file needed for that? Is it possible to use the tagging of images in gallery project and somehowcombine it with the tags of tiki. Since I got the problem that tiki does not tag images but only galleries and that it seems not possible to show images from different galleries together in one slideshow or imagelist. Thanks for any help.
