Often can't apply multiple wiki features

One proble with TikiWiki I find irksome is that it is not easy to applu multiple syntax features.

You might want a box with text that is some colour with the font increased and so on. Some feature work and the some fail. Perhaps I am missing the secret way of getting multiple features.

Also does anyone know how to make and image on a page be the link to some other place?

^a box with text that is ~~#FFCC00:some colour~~ with the {TAG(style=>font-size:16px)}font increased{TAG}^:

Check out the Quicktags, and the wiki help and wiki plugin help at the bottom of the wiki editpage.

Some things, like the box above, get their styling from the theme's CSS. If you want something different, you can use something like the DIV wikiplugin where properties can be specified in each use.

One thing about using wiki syntax in combinations is that the order of things makes a difference sometimes, so if one way doesn't work, try moving the inside tag to the outide and so on.

Thanks that is helpful. The syntax for font control isn't in the tiki help when you edit a page. I'm using Sirius 1.9. Where is the doco for this feature?

If I play with the simple editing syntax like using a the dah equals for a title and then the exclamation mark for heading. One of them always fails. I tried changing the order but to no avail. These problems occur for me on a number of the handy Tiki syntaxed when you try to next them

Isn't there a link for "wiki help" at the bottom of your wiki editpage? Otherwise, check the doc.tikiwiki.org site for descriptions.

I think things break when you try to combine two that are each meant to be at the left margin. Both headlines and title bars are meant to be alone on the line, as far as I know, so I guess the syntax designers didn't see any need to make them compatible on one line.

If you want to get the effect of those styles combined, you can try using the Tag wiki plugin.
