Check out the Quicktags, and the wiki help and wiki plugin help at the bottom of the wiki editpage.
Some things, like the box above, get their styling from the theme's CSS. If you want something different, you can use something like the DIV wikiplugin where properties can be specified in each use.
One thing about using wiki syntax in combinations is that the order of things makes a difference sometimes, so if one way doesn't work, try moving the inside tag to the outide and so on.
