    • use of Chat

    Hello all,

    We would like to use Chat but the only times I have used it will throw up a

    TikiWiki is not properly set up:
    'Unable to connect to the database !
    Go here to begin the installation process, if you haven't done so already. Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)'


    after a couple of minutes

    Has this problem been resoved with later versions (we are using 1.9.2)

    Also is there a module which displays the people who are in the chat room?

    Chat works ok at themes.tw.o, which is running the 1.9.5 CVS version. (Funny, the user's real name gets listed as a participant, not the Tiki user name. That's different from before, isn't it? Or I wonder if this an Intertiki quirk.) But then chat worked ok for me (another site) with 1.9.2 too.

    No. That'd be nice to have, wouldn't it? In fact it seems kind of essential for a site where the chat is expected to be used.
