Local vs server time

My local time is CDT and my server is at MDT, one hour less than my local. I can set Calendar event times right the first time (in pull down menus or manually) but if I go back to edit them the time changes to one hour earlier, unless I catch it. This is OK for me -but confuses the heck out of my users.

Someone noted a while back the problem likely was in the difference between local time and server time. I just have no idea where to change this. My host (Blue Host)tells me server time is server time and it's probably in my application but I cannot find anywhere where you can set an offset or a local time in TW. I found the Strftime (in general admin) to choose the preferred display of time and date but no offset.

Someone suggested a manual fix with a calculation to add 1 to the hour but I'm not sure where to do that either.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

This is apparently a bug in the calendar code. Maybe it will be fixed in the 1.10 release (coming in a few months maybe). Apparently it's possible to hardcode a fix for a particular situation, but I don't know where to look for that.

I have the same problem.

Is it possible to see what changes are coming in 1.10 and is it too late to see about adding certain features.

Also, does anyone know how to disable the event link on the calendar so that the only option for viewing, editing, and deleting an event is by using the pop-up menu? I am assuming it is through the tiki_calendar.tpl file but not sure where in the code (or what) I need to change.

Please let me know if you can help me! 😊

Have a great day!
