Re: Tracker Mandatory Field Required Message color/location/pop-up?

Okay, so far I have been able to find that the "mandatory fields are missing" message appears in a simplebox. I found the definition for simplebox in the style css file for the style I'm using (coelesce.css). I was able to mod the background color there. BUT of course any simplebox generated now has that same background color. ...and not all simplebox calls are to display an error condition.

I'm still searching for a way to hack the tracker module so that the "mandatory field(s) are missing" message simplebox is the only one that has a different fill color (like yellow: #FFFF00).

Ideally, I'd find a way to create something like simplebox, but call it errorbox (clone simplebox and modify it?). Then be able to control that perhaps thru the style css file(s). The challenge I guess would still be to find where in tiki-view-tracker(?) the simplebox generator is called to display a mandatory field error (or ANY error), and change to to generate the new errorbox type.

I'm still finding my way around tikiwiki code. Any more experienced code hacks input on this would be greatly appreciated!!! Someday, I'll return the karma, I promise!

(Should I move this to a different forum/section? - perhaps Development?)

Thanks, -H
