As I understand it, RSS feeds are generated from individual (or discrete) blogs and articles (and Tiki calendar entries, though the calendar is pretty lame). These work both as external RSS Feeds and also you can stick the feed in a module so your left column might show the last n number of posts from "Bob's blog" or upcoming events from the calendar.
You ask a good question though. Can a single RSS feed be created that lists n number of posts to more than one blog/article? You would think so because there is something like what you want in an optional module you can enable that lists the last changes to the site. So in theory it seems possible.
However I've not seen it and from what I know of tiki "out of the box" so to speak, I don't think you can without wrioting your own php to make it happen.
Luckily there are far smarter people than me and I'll be watching to see what wisdom they pass on.
