    When I type a word or definition in the TikiWiki I get files of the image gallery as result first. But is there a way that images won't b included in the search or wikipage get higher in the ranking instead of the images?

    I think you are referencing the same issue I am experiencing. I am running version 4.2. I have the "Search Bar" enabled under "Look & Feel->General Layout Options." Searching brings results up for all features with the File Gallery listings on top in the listings.

    I have enabled also the "Object Filter" at "Search->Search Results" and this works. However, it would be nice to be able to change the default "Site Search" to what ever you choose (example - Wiki Pages). Anyone have any ideas for this?

    My main issue with the file gallery listings on top is that there is a link to File Galleries included in the same link for the searched file. Users always click this link rather than the actual link to the file...

    This is available in Tiki 5. You can set the default search scope.
