Site sections

Anybody know of a way I can set up different module configurations for different sections of my site, or know of a why to mod tiki to do it? Could possibly be a good feature to have built in.

If I understand what you mean, I don't think. I only red about that once...look for keyword "context" and "module" around, maybe.

hi progrium

The best way to achieve this is to modify the tiki.tpl file and duplicate these changing into the error.tpl file:

Open the tiki.tpl and look for the {section} parts, you need to check your calling page for example tiki-index.php identifies wiki pages, now loop round the sections checking for modules with say a parameter of wiki=yes and then call the display routine.

I'm not sure how thats going to work in the actual situation, but if you want more help, let me know. It cannot be done currently with Tiki, so your going to have to do some coding.

You might also want to look at the menu-code in 1.9 as that seems to have sectional menus that only show in certain areas of Tiki
