    • Smileys in Chat

    Posted by Hal Phillips

I haven't tried to use the chat until today on a 1.7.5-1 install. If I enter the command for a smiley, what shows up on the screen is the script to the url of the smiley, but no smiley.

Is a smiley toolbar like the ones in the forums edit in the works ?

    Hi !

It is in fact a known problem in the chat module 😢 but also we dont have anyone maintaining it at the moment either

Are you interested in a career in Tiki software development? 😉

    Hi!
For 1.9.7+ it can be don with the files from the attachment.
Make a backup of tiki-chatroom.tpl first, then copy the files to templates/
