    • Problems with pdf and galleries

    Cry for help. From a Newbee.
    I installed Tikiwiki 10.2 and started with galleries. Because the main reason for using tikiwiki is to store and search in Protokolls and doc, docx,xls, xlsx. But in 30 percent I have the documents in PDF- Format
    Store the PDF documents in a Gallery, indexing it, and nothing will be found. search for Content in doc, docx and so on Looks good.
    I'm using application/pdf > pstotext %1- or (and) application/pdf -> pdftotext %1 -

    Hoster is 1&1, DB is MySql
    PHP is 5.x

    What I'm doing wrong?

    Hello,

    I asked 1&1 if the pdftotext Modul is installed. No it isn't. The rebuild of the index, i did. But if there is no module for pdf, than nothing will work.
    Can you give me a hint, where I'll find the module? I thing i'll transfer that by FTP to the dir "modules" at the Server. That's ok?
