Installing on Windows and IIS

My page describes how to install Tiki Wiki 1.7 on Windows 2000 with IIS.

There are a few glitches, as described on the page. I have submitted all bugs to the tiki project on Source Forge.

Since I can't use setup.sh (or whatever the name of the script is), I don't think I can create the templates on Windows. Is this a FAQ?

<rant>The most severe problems are intermittent errors with forum posts and the broken-ness of the image gallery.

Image galleries work fine, it's just the generated URL ("use this URL...") contains an extra slash — same thing happens in the file gallery.

The intermittent error regarding forum posts has to do with the last_forum_posts module.

There is another issue — it isn't possible to post comments to articles and wiki pages.

The most severe IIS problem is the creation of bogus URLs that have slashes or question marks in the wrong place. It's a very widespread problem but there is an easy fix for it. On my setup page, look for the instructions regarding editing tiki-setup.php.
