Newbie: Locked out of my own Tiki! :))

It wasn't so funny at the time... I was actually playing with the CMSI wanted to turn on the top header so that I could see if I was using 1.8 or 1.8.1 I must have accidentally turned off the left CMS panel and turned on the right one on... Then I left to do some other work. Meanwhile my login expired.

When I came back to my PC--I realized that I did not have access to the admin panel! (Browser cache was of no help either...) And because the login panel had been turned off in the CMS, there was no way to log back in! LOL. I could see the Wiki, but I was denied access to it! For the first time I started looking at the Tiki files on the server. I tried to look for some way to get back into my Tiki... I tried the URL's of several php scripts with no success.

Fortunately I found a "change password" php script in the root directory and it worked standalone (unlike some of the others)... I was able to change my admin password and lucky for meit additionally logs you in! Now that I had access to my Tiki againI was able to manually type the URL of the admin script and set the CMS to show the left panel again ;)

Now that I look backit was a stupid errorbut I'm sure someone will find this all entertaining.

The other option would have been to look at the FAQs, but playing with Tiki is an understandable game razz
