Links not working in Top Pages module

I recently upgraded to 28.3 and have a problem I have not been able to find a solution for as yet.

On the right hand side of my site I have several modules.

The module Top Pages has links with this type of formatting:

https://mywebsite.org/tiki-index.php?page=SeasonsQuestion

When I click on the link nothing happens.

The module Latest Changes just below it has this type of link formatting:

https://mywebsite.org/SeasonsQuestion

When I click on this link it works fine.

Does anyone have an idea of what may have caused this?

I'm guessing I've changed a preference I shouldn't without remembering or recording it.

Would be nice to be able to modify the module to change the link format.

Thanks in advance!

Did you mess around with SEFU's? (Search Engine Friendly URL) I believe their purpose is to render URL's without the need for the /tiki-index.php?page=blahblah#view

The only thing is I tried experimenting with SEFU and it appeared to require changing _htaccess which you would probably remember doing 😉

I'm having trouble with Tracker stored URL's being formatted as %UTF on display. These also generate links that 'do nothing'

If i come across any other culprit I'll let you know.

It sounds like the issue might be related to the way TikiWiki handles URL rewriting or friendly URLs. When you upgraded, some settings for "fancy URLs" or "short URLs" could have changed, which would explain why the `tiki-index.php?page=Seasons` links aren’t working while the simplified `/Seasons` links do. I’d check the URL settings in the admin panel, and see if you can adjust the Top Pages module to use the same URL format as Latest Changes. It’s usually just a preference that got toggled during the upgrade.
