    • Problem to Login

    Hi, we have tiki 1.7.1.1 installed and we are unable to login,
    when we try to login te following message appears:

    Auth_Container_LDAP: Could not connect and bind to LDAP server.


    What can be misconfigured ?
    I think we didnt change anything in the configuration but Im not sure.

    Please Help.

    Are you supposed to be using LDAP authentication? If not then make sure it is disabled in the administration panel.

    We are not supposed to be using LDAP authentication, but how can disable it if I can´t login?
    There is a configuration file or a table in the database where we can change this setting?

    Hi Gerardo,

    That is odd. LDAP should not be enabled by default. Have a look in your MySQL database in the table tiki_preferences for the record auth_method and make sure this is set to 'tiki'.
