I noticed, in the top modules (top navbar) the Tiki Project Sites text and the logged in username and profile picture were overlapping, so I checked the module widths and saw they needed fixing. I reduced the site logo module from col-md-7 to col-md-5 (it didn't need all that width), and increased the log-in module width from col-md-1 to col-md-3. No way would a full username (often the real name) plus the image fit in a 1-unit div. So now it looks like everything has enough room to display properly.
