LayersMenu Error

Whoops. I went into one of the menus and I think I accidentally deleted the whole menu structure. When I now log in I get this message:
LayersMenu Error: setMenuStructureString: empty string.
Halted.

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

This error comes up when there's a mismatch between the menu id specified in the phplayers tag and the menu ids as set on Tiki's admin menu page. How are you using the menu — with the Site Identity feature, or with a phplayers menu tag in a theme template? If the former, then you could upload an edited tiki-top_bar.tpl file with the phplayers menu tag deleted or commented out (using Smarty comment tags like {* commented out *}. If the latter, then do the same with the menu tag in tiki.tpl file or wherever the tag was placed.

This will stop Tiki from trying to load a menu that it can't find.

I am not that familiar with TikiWiki (yet) and I don't have access to the server
so it's all a bit cumbersome.

I think all I want is to get it back the way it was - but I don't want to reinstall as that probably means I will lose my articles and wiki pages.

I will take a look at the file you mention...thanks!
