Tikisheet errors

Hi, I just started using Tikisheets inorder to make a company phone list and for some reason I cannot import or export. Granted, I don't have Exel, but OpenOffice should be able to read an exel sheet. When I export and try to open it I get this error:

Notice: Uninitialized string offset: 1 in /home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/writer/parser.php on line 1326

Notice: Uninitialized string offset: 1 in /home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/writer/parser.php on line 1326

Etc...until line 800

When I try to import an xls file I get this error:

Undefined offset: 49: /home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/reader.php (369)Use of undefined constant Type_BOOLERR - assumed 'Type_BOOLERR': /home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/reader.php (574)Use of undefined constant Type_BOOLERR - assumed 'Type_BOOLERR': /home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/reader.php (574)Use of undefined constant Type_BOOLERR - assumed 'Type_BOOLERR': /home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/reader.php (574)Use of undefined constant Type_BOOLERR - assumed 'Type_BOOLERR':

Etc...for a bunch of lines then:

/home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/reader.php (574)Undefined index: : /home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/reader.php (662)Use of undefined constant Type_BOOLERR - assumed 'Type_BOOLERR': /home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/reader.php (574)Use of undefined constant Type_BOOLERR - assumed 'Type_BOOLERR': /home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/reader.php (574)Undefined index: : /home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/reader.php (662)Use of undefined constant Type_BOOLERR - assumed 'Type_BOOLERR': /home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/reader.php (574)Use of undefined constant Type_BOOLERR - assumed 'Type_BOOLERR': /home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/reader.php (574)Undefined index: : /home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/reader.php (662)Use of undefined constant Type_BOOLERR - assumed 'Type_BOOLERR': /home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/reader.php (574)Use of undefined constant Type_BOOLERR - assumed 'Type_BOOLERR': /home/commun/public_html/wiki/lib/sheet/excel/reader.php (574)Undefined index: :

Etc...for a whole bunch of lines and then it goes on to more of the same...

Another issue I am having with it is that everything works fine for a while but then I start getting an "unresponsive script" warning each time I try to do something.

Any ideas? 💡

Thanks, Jason

Hi Jason,

Tikisheet has been improved on 1.10cvs (but not backported to 1.9). However, you should use import & export in csv format, not on excel's, which doesn't work at all (even on 1.10). But with cvs, and OOo, it should work fine with OOo, even in Tiki 1.9.x.

The "unresponsive script" warning is because the sheet gets too big, probably (javascript takes long to precess big sheets....).

I hope this helps...

Cheers,

Xavi ("TikiSheet" fan, specially when sheets are small).

Thank you Xavi, That really helped. Is there a way to get around the unresponsive issue when you have a big sheet? If not, I guess I will do all of my editing in OOo and then save as CVS and re import.

Thanks again!😀

Jason
