Find Syntax

I'd love to search this forum for answers that have already been given, using the Find box...

But there seems no way of looking for eg 'wiki' AND 'css' - I've tried the usual boolean suspects, but apparently the search always does an OR, so there are too many answers to look through.

Is there a syntax for the Find box that I have missed in the docs?

Many thanks.

Evidently the full text search is not enabled for these forums.

Thanks for your Google link.

You seem very familar with the docs 😊 - I find them difficult to navigate for specific questions - for instance I can find no route to the page you give from the root of the docs tree.

And, actually, what I needed was specific to the forum (ie how the forum has been set up, not all the options for how it might have been set up 😉 ) - and there appears to be no documentation at all for that.

Thanks for your help though

  1. From the Documentation Menu, select Features.
  2. In the list of features, simply click the one you want (in your case, Forums).
You should arrive at the start of the Forum documentation.

    (Or just click hereQuestion.😛 )

Please feel free to contribute to the documentation effortQuestion.

Ah, yes, in the section "Subjective self-evaluation by the Tiki community" one of the links takes you to a page about using and setting up forums. Obvious really 😕.

In fact even that doesn't help, because I was after the docs for this specific forum - ie how the Find facility has been set up for it.

As your message came in I was actually browsing the pages on contributing to docs. Some of my favourite excerpts:
"Use TikiWiki, not TikiWiki"
"avoid jargon ..... Heading objects are useful for creating a maketoc tag"
"The secret to a well made wiki? is having a logical structure ... The document structure evolves organically."
😀

Not the place to talk about it here though... I'll try to contribute. And thanks again...
