    We have recently installed TIKIWIKI 2.0 and facing problems with session timeout. Member session times out very quickly, even within minutes of no-activity on the site or even sometimes during the activity it logs out. I searched in the backend control panel for admin, but I am unable to find any sections to see session control settings.

    Is it our hosting server problem or some settings with TIKIWKI ? And where can we find the session control settings for TIKIWIKI ?

    I think that I am having the same problem. I went in and changed the Session timeout setting as described below to 120 minutes, wrote two pages and when I went to preview it about 40 minutes after I started, my session had expired (and I lost all my work) 😢.

    After changing the parameter as describe below to 120 minutes, the editor did indeed say that I had 120 minutes before my session expired but that was not the case.

    I echo another post that it would sure help if the message would at least tell me how much time I have left.

    Also ... I am using TW to write a book so I am the only one using it right now. Can I just turn this timer off any way??
