    The hosting service said there was a column missing in a table in the DB. So, I'm hoping it was an installation error, perhaps during upgrade from 2.0 to 2.1 (I need to keep a log). I'm doing a clean reinstall of 2.1. Fortunately, only in learning mode, so nothing important lost.

    Clean install of 2.1 seems to work. I'll take better notes on procedure for future upgrades.
