Indenting

Since I use , I use !, !!, etc. and I want my document to follow the same indentation levels.

So I'm using which obviously requires HTML to be turned on which is not idea. It also adds a lot of ugly whitespace.

Is there an existing plug-in for indentation?

Thanks

Hi terris,

It doesnt look like your example has worked in your post. The only for of indentation you could try that I know about is to start the line with a + or a series of +'s depending on your level of indentation required

Let me know how you get on this this

Hm. I tried to put curly braces and XML in my initial post. I put a space after { and less-than.

Are there any docs on the plus sign?

Damian, + doesn't seem to work. It would be nice if it did. Arrrgggg.. How are you supposed to write documents without indenting?

Terris,

I think the + needs a * on a previous line to set the indentation level. :/

Maybe you could surf over to our documtation effort at http://doc.tikiwiki.org and see if any of those pages will give you ideas.

I know the RewriteRules page includes a large CODE plugin example wink

Ah, right. That's neat! However, what I'd really like to have is a way to get indented text without the * and + requirements. I was trying to say that I am currently using blockquote HTML which isn't ideal.

I get the hint on writing a plugin. Maybe in my next life.

I've noticed that Wiki docs use a lot of "inline" indenting meaning everything is at the same indentation level with different font sizes for the headings. ! one, !! two, !!! three etc.. I guess it works..
