can t open pages anymore

As soon as I try to open a wiki-page to edit or read it, I get the following or a similar warning.
What is the easiest way to get my system running properly again?

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 100663296 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 64 bytes) in /home2/www/b90/feldtech/tiki/lib/init/initlib.php on line 162

With kind regards

This is usually a PHP memory issue. Please review the FAQsQuestion.

Also,

  • What is your Tiki version
  • Is this a new installation or upgrade?
  • Did you change something recently that caused the error?
  • Have you enabled the Tiki error reporting and logging?

Thx for your answer.

  • my version is 5.2
  • it is not an upgrade
  • I did not change anything recently - except from editing pages
  • I think I enabled error reporting and logging - but I now can open the admin pages properly

Something quite interesting: I saw similar errors on tiki.org today.

Hi, i got a similar error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in /var/www/01maehting/wiki/lib/init/initlib.php on line 167

Funny thing is, i only get it on my windows 7 laptop at work, but not on the ubuntu 10.10 on the same desk and in the same network. Also I don't get this error at home, not with windows xp pro and not with Mint Linux 10. It doesn't matter which browser I use, I get the error with both IE (8)and Firefox (3.x and 4.0). I have 2 tikiwiki's installed, and i only get the error by the one called "maehting" not the "personal" one. I tried to install it new and import the database, but I got an error under windows 7 within the setup (sry, i don't now which it was). I could install it under Ubuntu, but after importing the database, i got the same error again (and again only on this laptop.)

I can't find any solution.

Is it possible to exclude some content types, like file galleries, files or images, from the search results? How can I achieve that?

How much PHP memory have you allocated? Please see the FAQsQuestion for details.
