WIMP install - Tracker files and attachment issues

Hello all, I've been trying to get Tiki running on a Windows 2008 R2 server, IIS, PHP 5.3, MySQL 5.5 machine. So far I've run into many issues during and post install. One of the main hangups right now is what appears to be a memory leak in the file attachment feature for trackers. Fastcgi error log shows a memory exhausted error (php is memory limited to 512mb on a development machine) when trying to attach a file. File uploads to a file gallery works perfectly fine. File uploads through a tracker item field create links to 0 kb files.

I've jumped back through versions 9.1, 9.0, and 8.5 and experience the same thing. I've tried the web platform installer too but that fails on the database connection. Has anyone launched this sucessfully on a similar setup? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Can you try Tiki Check and see if it detects anything fishy?

Thanks!

You can also try to change the file storage from MySQL to the file system.

You can set that here: tiki-admin.php?page=trackers

Best regards,

M ;-)

Marc,

Tiki Check link is broken?

I've tried to use the file system instead of MySQL server to store the files but I get similar results.

I think it has something to do with php and IIS 7.5. I've tested setting 'memory_limit' to 0, and have watched the php script run wild. Could it have something to do with web.config redirect rules? I imported the .htaccess file, most rules came through successfully.

Has the file attachment feature (on Tiki 9.1) been smoke tested on other environments?
