tiki-user_preferences.php throw a ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

I have to enable the user extended profile preferences, like "gender, country, real name" I see in the database.
But I am struggling to find the solution, there is surely a checkbox somewhere!
The documentation is completely lacking this important information, as you can see: https://doc.tiki.org/User-PreferencesQuestion
Using Tiki 15.

The page requests a "feature_userPreferences" which was NOT enabled.
Now I have enabled it but it does not change anything on an already existing user.

This.
This was the problem from the beginning..
It must be enabled, but it is said nowhere, that feature_userPreferences has to be enabled in order to open the page "Preferences".
This is a bug.
Both in the interface that shows a link that should not be showed.
And because, after I enabled it, the previously created users can NOT yet enter the tiki-user_preferences.php page because it still throws a ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE error.

Only new created users now can open the page and change some user details.
The name is also wrong: a "real name" is not a user preference.
Someone confused preferences with details and should be corrected.

I hope this can help someone, I spent 5 years to unterstand this. (it was so confusing at the beginning that I left it until now)

I believe you'll need to enable the Gender and Users can choose to show their gender options. Remember, you can use the Preferences Search to quickly and easily find any Tiki option. And be sure you have your Preference FiltersQuestion set correctly. And there's the User information public/private option that you may need to change (depending on your use case).

After making changes, you may need to clear your cachesQuestion to see the changes.
