Queries

It seems to me that Tikiwiki uses too many queries. Before registering and logging into the forum, it used 143 queries. After logging in, it jumped to 195!

This is simply crazy!!! I'm going to have to download this software and see why it uses so many...

http://www.mercuryboard.com/Question uses at most (I think) 12 queries at one time. Its usual execution time is 0.03 seconds. I know it's just a forum, but a CMS shouldn't double the amount of queries used if properly optimized.

Is there a reason I'm not seeing?

ROFLMAO

I cant help but laugh so much. Isnt there anything else apart from queries people look for ?

Damian

p.s. Optimisation is scheduled for a future release.

I'm sorry to have made you laugh. It was a serious question, especially 'cause if you think in terms of scalability, this system would plateau MUCH too quickly. The last post I had took over 4 seconds to execute.

MM, why not try http://www.damosoft.co.ukQuestion which is hosted on a better server geared towards hosting and not on mose's personal server.
