Wiki Object Permissions

Yo,

Was wondering if anyone has noticed the following...
I have a tikiwiki 1.8 installation using a postgres backend. I am trying to add edit rights for a group to a wiki page. I add the access tiki_p_admin_wiki and tiki_p_view for the group for that page but it fails to work.
After tracing the database query log, tikiwiki is not checking for object permissions in the users_objectpermissions even though adding permissions described above is writing the correct rows to this table.
Anyone have any ideas???

I think this was very recently fixed in 1.8.4 or 1.9 rc series. You have to give global tiki_p_view or something like that currently.

Hey Damian,

Works like magic (well almost). I am currently running 1.8.2 and setting tiki_p_view permission for the group forces tikiwiki to get through to the object permission checking section of the code. It basically dies in the first page of tiki-editpage.php where it tests $tiki_p_view.

Anyhow - thanks for the info - saved a considerable amount of hair tearing.
