History: DbDev

The queries must follow the syntax described in DbAbstractionDev

Here are the current steps to include changes in the database. That's for mod in HEAD, changes in branches are not expected to change db except exceptionnal case :

• update db/tiki.sql

• update db/tiki_xtoy.sql (no destructive actions, only updates, alter, insert, no delete. That script is intended to be run with -f mysql option)

• be sure db/ is web writable and run convertscripts :

./db/convertscripts/convertsqls.sh domain.name.tld
It triggers php pages that are in db/convertscriptsn that generate the tiki-y-*.sql that are used by the installer. That may not work under windows. (confirm?)

• note that tiki.sql is not used by the installer, tiki-1.9-mysql.sql is a simple cp of it.
