History: Partnership Team

Preview of version: 20

Why this team is important

Tiki is a somewhat large / complex organization and it's not obvious from the outside who to speak to for a specific project. And for new ideas / projects, it's not obvious which team(s) should work on this.

Ongoing responsibilities

  • Make sure any request from a partner gets a reply (even if it is not the answer they would like to hear)
  • Monitor http://info.tiki.org/Contact+Us
  • Works in collaboration with the packaging team for things like 1-click installers
  • Works in collaboration with the finance team for things like Affiliates
  • Works with consulting team because consultants are also partners in the Tiki ecosystem
  • Be in touch with larger institutional users (or potential users) of Tiki (high-level coordination of roadmaps, etc.)

Marc Laporte Undo the change from "Partnership Team" to "Partnerships". We need teams of people that take responsibility and do stuff. Some teams will 0 or 1 members and it's our job to find doers and make it happen. 26

Marc Laporte Nelson had removed this section, which makes no sense. The point of a team is to have members who get things done. 24
