    In a .tpl file the syntax is
    Copy to clipboard
    {* This is a comment *}


    In the wiki areas themselves there is a plugin on mods.tikiwiki.org called:

    Copy to clipboard
    {COMMENT()}This is the comment text{COMMENT}
