TikiFest Barcelona Community Review
-The purpose of this news package was to help with the promotion of the project. I wanted to do it through the people. It would be nice to interview everyone there but that was impossible. I also had to choose more easy tone and introduce the open source itself for those who has no idea what open source is. I hope in the near future we will be able to create longer program about you guys and TikiWiki. At least this is my wish.

TikiFest Montréal Summer 2009 ongoing
-This TikiFest is hosted by CGCOM (July 16-17-18, 2009) and is focused on planning workspaces architectural pre-requisites, and is a pre-event to TikiFest Workspaces and Social Networking, which starts July 31st.

TikiFest Google Summer of Code 2009 in London, UK (July 3-4-5, 2009)
-The second TikiFest UK "Google Summer of code edition" in London is going to be running from July 3rd (Friday) to 5th (Sunday) this week. This event will focus on Google Summer of Code 2009 GSOC projects:
- Workspaces
- Kaltura
- phpBB and MediaWiki-TikiWiki importer
Tiki 3.1 released
-In another step forward, Tiki 3.1 has been released. Once again, thanks to the users for providing feedback, to the developers for their code contributions, to the Quality Team for their careful checking of commits, and to everyone else in the TikiWiki community who helped out. Release of Tiki Version 3.0
-Tiki 3.0 is now released!
Thanks again to all who helped in making Tiki 3.0 a reality, and especially those who worked extra hard during the release process.
This version of Tiki marks a new milestone in the development of the project, as we embark on building a community around Tiki Profiles, and as the Quality Team works to help ensure that necessary bug fixes and incremental improvements make it to the 3.x versions while maintaining quality, even as cool new features are worked on for 4.0.
Regarding site upgrades to Tiki 3 from older versions, please note that many changes were made in styles, such as switching to a tableless design and revamping how buttons are styled. Many themes that were in the package are no longer supported. (Please read Theme Issues when Updating to Tiki 3.0) Plan some time to update your style if you are not ready to change it to a bundled one.
