reply to terryw on mail() - try running phpinfo it should show under STANDAR that sendmail is enabled - make script like this and run it

lots of install defaults changed from 1.9-cvs 3 days ago until 1.9.0 - user reg by default is not on AND what is the 2nd line from top (under tiki version) where user can go to watches, mytiki,etc)- for the life of me can't figure out how to turn it on.

Ok, I am having probs where the user registration e-mail never gets recieved. I have looked through the forums and found to make sure mail() is installed in php, which my host says it is. Is there a way (script) to verify its working outside of TikiWiki.

Please! I am trying to install TikiWiki but gets an error. I am quite new to this but are trying hard. I get "The directory '/tmp' does not exist or PHP is not allowed to access it I am using www.surftown.se please help, It is friday night and Iam Stuck!
