I'm getting a bad password message when trying to connect to the IRC channel, using the supplied link. Do I need to have an IRC account or something?
Steel_Rat, Wednesday 23 August 2006, 03:54:22 CEST
Really need help getting Aulawiki installed with Tikiwiki 1.9.4, it simply doesn't work, gives an immediate error and then will not continue to install. See my message in the Features forum.

mattcooperrider, Monday 21 August 2006, 17:13:51 CEST
Thanks chiba. So, I want to use tikiwiki for a nationwide company intranet. It should have high volume, and a lot of db queries. Will my wiki have the same issues, and how can I prevent them?
chibaguy, Sunday 20 August 2006, 09:18:50 CEST
matt..., I think the display speed is related to the amount of data and db queries per page, and tw.o has lots of those. Simpler sites are faster.
mattcooperrider, Saturday 19 August 2006, 20:29:25 CEST
Why is TikiWiki.org so slow, and will a TikiWiki hosted on another server be this slow?

@Cat: also try using a div with float to "float" your text around the image.
chibaguy, Friday 11 August 2006, 06:47:06 CEST
Cat...: use imalign=right, etc. in the img tag.

Andi2006: section edits are in Tiki 1.10
Andi2006, Friday 14 July 2006, 17:29:39 CEST
Does anybody have an idea how I could integrate an even easier to use mode to allow users to edit only text parts of a wiki. They shouldn't see the edit-box with all the tags. Dyn vars won't do the job since I need the the change-logs and the UNDO-feature
